The old version was made in HTML/CSS (with TailwindCSS)/JS for the frontend and used PHP for the backend. This new version still uses the same technology for the frontend but the backend was written in Rust with Actix. This allows the site to be much faster, for the moment few services are available, but they will arrive as the site is deployed.
